Sheep Y

I went down to Burwick in South Ronaldsay and walked along the coast as far as Windwick. This shot is at Ham Geo near the Tomb of the Eagles. A nice day with a coldish west wind. Lonts of bonxies and scootie alans (great and Arctic skuas) and 'bird of the day'- my first long-tailed skua. A couple of raven families and young redshank, common gull etc. Lots of guillemots on the cliffs and a few puffins. The clifftop flowers are out so lots of thrift, spring squill, red campion, primroses, tormentil, dog violet, and heath-spotted orchids. My computer has been under repair hence the lack of posts.
