I think this is the first time my photo has acknowledged that this is a popular place for dog walking.

Clover has now replaced cow parsley and over by the trees on the left the oxeye daisies are bringing up the rear behind the buttercups invading from the meadow beyond. In the vanguard are just a few bold outliers scoping out the territory but behind they advance in phalanxes. It's easy to see how they will have colonised this meadow by next year or the year after.
