Golden Sycamores

I've stuck with the sylvanian theme again today after yesterday's Forest Quadtych. This time though rather than native I've gone exotic, as it were.

These almost denuded sycamores are a pest species here in The Forest, but they have to be some of the prettiest intruders around, especially at this time of year when the colour drains from their leaves to a primary yellow, a fantastic contrast to an azure blue sky like today's.
