Always go with a song

Today was a beautiful day, sunny and into the 20's and of course I was working.  I started off at home with side chats to the gardeners and Social Care Direct, then to a lunchtime meeting followed by 2 more meetings in the office.  Oh to have been outside.

A brief sojourn in the sun at the Richmond Cafe (looks like good Greek food) the to SSCC for our Summer Concert.  Did it go ok?  Difficult to say. It was very hot, the audience was very 'flat' and I had not fully memorised the memory pieces. Our guest flautist was very good as was the double base player.

We serenaded our departing accompanist with 'Always go with a song'.  

Luckily some red wine left at home.
