Tree Down

We had a lovely sunny day today. But gosh, the wind was cold. There was a busy team here at home for most of the day. They are roofing experts and were busy sorting and replacing some tiles and putting a special coating over the whole of the house and garage. So we will be nicely weather-proof in future.
I and the dog walked some of the Taylor River tracks. A big willow tree has been blown down during recent gales. It is lying across and in the waterway. I hope it will be removed before the next "fresh" in the river. Otherwise we could have a damming effect with damage to the banks and to newly planted native shrubs.
