Fire

A bit of a worry today as a fire took hold in the woods behind our house. Apparently some youngsters were camping out last night, but things are so dry the fire spread quickly. It is difficult to reach by vehicles. There are 3 fire engines along our lane getting water? The fire is still going. I managed to manoeuvre round the parked up fire engines to drive to the next village to pick up Ailie with her new hip, to take her for a short walk by the river.

We had an appointment with the travel clinic to find if our jabs were up to date. I needed a typhoid one as well as tetanus. We need to decide on which malaria tablets to buy - the cheapest I expect, plus Deet and covering up.
