Tyne from the Train

It’s a familiar scene, but I love seeing it from the train as we cross the Tyne into Newcastle.

I have been in Newcastle a lot over the last months and have seen it windy, very windy, wet, very wet, cold, even snowy. Today it was sunny and warm and how wonderful to see anoraks and fleeces give way to tee shirts and dresses. Lovely to see people sauntering and sitting about.
