Still Summer!

Another lovely sunny day - our third in a row!  Summer really is here at last:-)  Sadly, I had to spend much of it indoors today, with housework, shopping and having my hair cut.  I ran round the garden with my camera just before going out for the latter appointment, as I knew my blip opportunities would be slim.

This is the first water lily to appear on the pond and very welcome it is:-)

I was able to have a quick visit with friend L. after my hair appointment and had afternoon tea with her in her garden, which was a real treat, so I didn't miss out on all the sunshine.  Hope you had plenty too:-)
