I joined a short (4.5 miles), local Ramblers' walk this morning, and we were just about to set off when someone tapped me on the shoulder.  It was L who used to teach in the same school as I did, and we worked together quite closely for a few years but lost touch when we both left seven and a half years ago.  It was good that we had lots to chat about because the walk was much too slow for me - Moderate it was not, more like Leisurely.
