A Day Worth Recording

Rod

After nine long months the main roofing work is complete and today Rod & John packed up.  It's a little weird (but nicely weird) having no ladders or scaffolding around.

We're very grateful for Mooncoin's recommendation of roofer; not only for the care with which the work has been done, but also for Rod's encyclopaedic list of Useful People.

They'll be back - we've a few secondary projects to progress plus there are various roof-level maintenance issues to keep on top of.  (The trees are great, but leaves do rather block drains and valleys.)

Meanwhile, the day was a bit manic.  The 3-Counties show starts tomorrow and we are full to the gunwales this weekend - including the units we've almost finished decorating/repairing...

Wound down late evening with a reciprocal visit to Norma & Andrew on the caravan site nearby, walking, chatting and coffee under a glorious sunset behind the hills.
