Common Blue Damselfly (female)

The warm weather has started to bring out the damselflies at local lochs. Only seen common blues so far. Several in tandem, but here is a female as yet unmated.

Female common blues come in two forms: a blue form and a pale brown form of which this is an example.

Common Blue Damselfly - Enallagma cyathigerum

I have now processed another image showing the other form and posted it as an 'extra'.
