Potfest 2015

What a great day we had for our annual trip to Potfest in the grounds of Scone Palace! The weather couldn't have been better, there was the usual vast array of ceramics by talented potters from all airts and the added pleasure of meeting up with ANewDay and her charming husband.

Gill and I both ended up buying a memento of the day. Like last year I was enticed by the gorgeous blues of Iain Markham's work and bought a little teapot, which you can see in the added photos.

My blip, however, is of potter John Christie, not because I particularly liked his stuff, but because of his interesting appearance. The other photos show Julian Jardine working on another Highland cow, and the beautiful Scone Palace.
