Light summer night - Pyhäjärvi view @ 00:05

Last night Emma, Lotta, hubby and me took part to a guided bats observation trip in Pirkkala. There were about a hundred participants at 22:00 at Pappila area. The idea of the trip was to listen birds that sing in night and watch bats flying. A biologist shared us lots of interesting information of birds and bats. Too bad that there weren't that many birds singing, because much fewer birds arrived to Finland from south than usually. The reason is too cold weather. And what comes to bats, we didn't see any! The night was too light! We left to home around 00:30, the trip continued till 01:00. Anyway, we enjoyed the light summer night, that was magically beautiful. Many thanks to Lotta who kept Emma company.

Leevi stayed home, because he needed to be perky early in the morning. He drove to Lahti to participate national trap shooting championship. Leevi competed in M20 series. Well done! Leevi is now 7th best M20 clay pigeon shooter in Finland!

Very rare for me to publish my blip this early! In the evening me and Emma are planning to participate to WWFM XII Bubble Flash Mob. Hopefully Leevi will be at home from Lahti in time, so we'll get the car :)

+20°C (!), cloudy
