The day after the big event

Another fantastic day today.

Gem is doing well and slowly recovering from surgery yesterday. Harriet has had a few issues with low blood sugars but she's been improving this afternoon and into this evening. Today she also met Nanny & Gramps plus a quick visit from Granny & Auntie Kirsty.

Might be home tomorrow, will depend on Harriet keeping up her levels.

Thanks to everyone for their messages yesterday via phone, text, Facebook, pigeon etc. It means a lot.

Finally, the NHS gets a kicking most of the time (don't get me wrong our surgery is shocking) however I can't speak highly enough of all of the midwives, nurses, registrars etc that have helped Gemma and Harriet over the past few days.

In other news I missed the monthly kart race today. Still July isn't far away.. ;)
