Clifton Hampden to Wallingford

Today we continued on our Thames Path walk. Last year we walked from the source to Clifton Hampden which lies just to the south of Abingdon. We resumed our walk at the same point.

It was nearly midday when we started after falling foul of a new bus timetable which left us with 90 minutes to spare in Wallingford before we could get the connecting bus.

The weather wasn't so good with rain for most of the day but it was a pleasant walk and with shorter distances scheduled this year there was no rush. I measured it on my GPS as 9.1 miles although I keep it on at all times and if it loses the signal indoors it can bounce around a bit and add a small amount. Once the surplus points have been edited out it will be just under 9 miles.

Today's blip was taken at the end of the walk in Wallingford where we had a drink in the Town Arms which features in the Good Beer Guide.
