Painting the steps

Today we spent the morning at Grandads house, and while we did some jobs inside, CJ decided that he would "paint" the conservatory steps.

Each step required numerous coats and was then thoroughly inspected to ensure he hadn't missed any spots. Amazingly, he managed to stay dry (despite some very enthusiastic painting)!

It was then home (via a couple of opens homes) so S2 could have a quiet evening before he starts his new job tomorrow. The boys and I have really enjoyed having him home these last few months - tomorrow is going to feel a little strange without him.
