Lederhosen

In the Mirabell Gardens.   

We popped along to the Mirabell Gardens this morning to see the Sunday morning band play.    Many of the local people dress in the traditional costume to parade in the gardens and listen to the music.

After watching the band march in and play a couple of tunes we tootled off to the river and took a 40 minute boat cruise. At the end of the cruise the pilot manoeuvres the boat in circles in time to the music of Mozart (no, I don't know which piece of music it was).  
It was fun for the first couple of circles but you do start to feel a little giddy on turn no 3.  I had visions of standing up and hurtling sideways into the controls of the boat when it finally docked.      Fortunately I managed to avoid such a catastrophe.

Hot again today but not quite so humid.   Once again we have packed a lot into our day.   We also visited the DomQuartier which is huge and includes the Cathedral Museum, huge state rooms,  art exhibitions and so on.
Later in the afternoon we had a good long walk along the river.
