Neil Gow

Walking the long route along the banks of the River Tay from Birnam to Dunkeld, came across a memorial to the 19th century fiddler Neil Gow.

There 's a line from singer Michael Marra and this image carved into a wavy bench beneath an old oak. I am assuming there's a link between Gow and the tree but i haven't investigated it yet.
