Something is making Daniel really happy. He has his Lego out on the kitchen worktop.

It seems no time at all since I was handing over the giant version of Lego, Duplo, that his mother used to play with. He was 16 months old then. Now, at 3 and a half, he has the proper Lego sets to make up vehicles. These come with very tiny parts and a booklet showing instructions for the model building.

He keeps each project in its own plastic box with the instructions and gets them out, one at a time, to make them up. He has even been know to point out mistakes made in the leaflets!

It's nice to see the concentration he puts into this! What a lovely weekend I'm having!
