SIGNS

Road liable to flooding

Found this sign on my way back from Marazion to Penzance, Cornwall. This seems to provide a perfect example of the use of liable, as compatible with something bad or undesirable.

This day, getting up early in the morning, I walked to see St Michael's Mount, the photos of which was uploaded as one of the extras. The others are of my afternoon's trip to Land's End.

It was great pleasure for me to have time to travel to Cornwall, just before leaving Britain, for I've long been interested in it as the place my favourite writer, Daphne du Maurier, loved. I'll definitely visit other places in Cornwall too next time I come to the UK (not sure of when :/).
