Birthday candles

Candles on birthday cakes, are you for or against? Nice to mark the numbers (depending on what they are of course!) but we are not big fans of waxy cake. David came up with this clever idea yesterday - two plates, one for the candles and one for the cake. Today we had more cake so we just relit the candles from last night. That bumper pack of tea lights I bought at Christmas is coming in handy!
