Les Demoiselles d'Essex

I went to Fishers Green for the first time in a long time this evening. I sat in the Bittern Hide and watched a warbler catching damselflies for its brood. A reed bunting was doing a balancing act on reed stem.

I then went to Norman's pond and immediately shot a beautiful beautiful demoiselle. Then the above. I've never shot a dark green damsel before. I think it might be an immature male beautiful demoiselle. There's an early purple orchid in the background.
