Past/Present

Today I travelled to the city of Manchester, in preparation for an early start & important exam in the morning.
I had a few options for my blip but decided on this one as it summarises what I love about this city; the way old and new structures are brought together.
This shot was taken from the less than glamorous vista of the Victoria station car park! I love the contrast of the angular steel and glass with the traditional curves of the old red brick (Accy nori perhaps???)
