Eggs

There are two nest boxes in our garden, both on the trunks of tall sycamore trees. One is being used by pied flycatchers. This one, which was made many years ago at Brodick Castle by one of my children on our Arran holiday, has been visited by blue tits, but I wasn't sure if it contained a nest. D got the ladder and I opened the lid...to find a nest and some teeny tiny eggs.
