Just a Sea Crow….

…handing on a rope.  This Cormorant just came up from the water.  It was interesting to see how much his waterlogged feathers made it very difficult for him to fly up to this rope.  It you look at the extra photo, you will see that another Cormorant had the best place to dry!  Moira and I so enjoyed our morning at the beach.  She quickly made friends with a little girl swimming near us.  Later in the morning, she struck up a conversation with an elderly lady out in the ocean.  We all had a wonderful time floating in the ocean and talking together.  It turned out that this woman had a three year old granddaughter who lived out of state.  It was a treat for her to be talking to Moira. As we walked off the beach, Moira looked up at me and told me it was good that we helped make that lady happy because she looked sad!  Feeling very blessed!
