Sizewell Bee

I found this stunning Bee Orchid once before in the Dunes at Sizewell and I've looked several times since without success, but today - bingo!
This was the icing on the cake of a stunning display of wild flowers at Sizewell today ( yes, that Sizewell - the Power Station itself may not be pretty, but the estate around it, including dunes, shingle, woodland, heathland and water meadow is one of the most beautiful places I know. It almost qualified as hot today and we finally saw lots of Dragon and Damselflies, and a good range, if not number, of butterflies, the highlight being a Painted Lady. We also got a couple of sightings of a Hobby hunting over a water meadow.
It's raining now, but the forecast for tomorrow is dry, so we may try a new RSPB Reserve nearby.
