Black-Fronted Tern

I am feeling pretty pleased to have this as I have tried to  capture these protected birds for a while. They are smaller than a seagull, fast and erratic in flight, diving for small fish, and water insects close to the surface of the water.

I stood and watched a multitude of them today, fishing at the height of the tide. I saw one catch a decent sized fish and it was then chased by another,  loudly demanding a share.

There is another one as an extra.
