Meet Gertrude

Someone suggested that I photograph and blip a fresh bud, reenergised and renewed, following my series of 3 expressive roses. 
 
Following her suggestion, I would like to introduce you to my latest rose, Gertrude Jekyll. I was in a quandary as to whether to buy this, as I heard that it's a very popular rose but the fragrance was too good not to and I do love Ms Jekyll's garden watercolours and flower borders. 

I successfully completed the laborious task of sorting out the loft today. The heat up there was unbearable but I was a woman on a mission and nothing was going to stop me. 

The only problem is, the house is now littered with things that I need to get rid of :))
