Slow cooking

I have been at work today. My boss is not in the best of health and has been at the hospital again today, so I went to work for 2 and a half hours to cover for him. I did all the prep work - making peas and curry, chopping salad, buttering rolls etc. that I used to do in my last job but have not done in a while. I enjoyed it as it was a change!

I don't make the kebabs - we buy the lamb ones from a small trader in Nottingham who makes them himself so we know what goes into them. He also sells us the marinated chicken which one of the lads threads up onto the skewer as we need it. They all come frozen!

I'm at work again tonight. Hopefully not tomorrow!
