Wood cranesbill after rain

...before the next shower. Between the showers I managed to do some preparations for silage cutting and mow the grass under the heifers' fence. Doing that I noticed that the wood cranesbills look quite nice with raindrops and that there are swans on the pond.

So, afterwards I headed back to the pond and shot a few shots of the cranesbills. In the meanwhile, the swans also came closer. The extra is taken from almost the same spot, also with the 100 mm macro lens and slightly cropped.

In the evening: barbecue, new crop potatoes etc. Happy Midsummer!
