Going with the Flow

Still around the Flow Country.   


There is lots of work going on to restore the land that was drained for forestry in the 1970s, but there are also signs of landscape-scale devastation from much further back in time.  

The extras are of one of the many small lochs around Sutherland countryside. The land around the loch has been grazed to within an inch of its life (‘sheep-wrecked’ in George Monbiot-speak) - but the little islands that have been free of grazing show what the landscape could (or perhaps should) look like.
