comin' through!

I got set up for a serious estuary/landscape shot, then thought about trying to get these cormorants into a wide angle somehow without scaring them.. But when I saw these ducks cruising along I knew I'd kick myself if they swam right inside so I grabbed the 400 - I called 'get closer together then go between the rocks please'. 
 Who'd have thought ducks could/would take stage directions?
