The Rhododendron Walk

The rhododendron and azalea walk in Dawyck Botanical Gardens is now in it's full glory. It's quite astonishing how there was not sign of any flowers when I was last there just over a week ago and now it's a riot of colour. This is looking down towards Dawyck House (not open to the public). We had been waiting for a beautiful day but it looks like none will be on offer in the near future so we simply took a gamble and went this morning. That turned out to be the right decision as it was dry although the rain came lashing down when we were having our cup of tea in the coffee shop. More pictures can be seen here.
