Fathers' Day

Fathers' Day brings with it the usual melee of dogs, kids, games (golf and baseball) on television, food, phone calls and craziness. A very high calorie, manly dinner of marinated tritip steak, double stuffed potatoes, salad and lemon bars is on tap. The kitchen counter is  the usual mash up of Cheerios, half eaten peanut butter sandwiches,  watercolor paints and brushes, dog treats, beer bottles, newspapers and abandoned jacket.

I wouldn't have it any other way….

I liked the shot of OilMan and two of his three children, Dana and Tim. Wish Matt could have been here too.

…and the answer to yesterday's mystery shot is…...Tah!Dah!…..a watched pot! Cranberry beans, water and some oil on top. Fascinating what happens when it comes to a boil. I may try it again  without the beans….
