My daughter, Jess sent me this touching Father's Day Blip yesterday that made me realize every twist and turn of life really matters.

The last time I photographed this little blue bench it had 18-inches of snow on it. Now, the woody climbing clematis vines at its feet divide into leaflets and leafstalks that twist and curl around every blue, iron surface. After a terribly harsh winter, this clematis is showing its adaptability and character with masses of spectacular flowers. It loves this spot, with cool, moist, sandy soil in full sun.
