Nature's Power vs Man's Power...

I've always

wanted to get a shot like this and shooting from the ferry returning back to Southampton from Cowes, just at the right time, is about the only way.

Sharper LARGE

Fawley Power station and refinery, with a huge fiery sun fireball, taken at about the best possible time and uncropped from a 560mm equivalent focal length (Tamron SP 70-300mm VC + Sigma EX 1.4x teleconverter, on DX).

It was surprisingly chilly outside and up on the top deck of the ferry at this time (about 9.30pm) and the ferry's engines provided just the right amount of vibration to keep the subject even IN the frame, difficult...

Thank you for travelling with me to the Isle of Wight, over the past few days.
