Evening calm

Another exhausting day (which began very early with mum) but which also left us running behind with morning routines.  Just after none we learnt that the hospice had a bed for us, so we were dashing around trying to get things ready before the ambulance arrived to collect her (fortunately for us they got lost in our tiny, tiny village).  We then had a tour of South Yorkshire (which felt a bit like going to London to get to Edinburgh) and left mum feeling sick by the time we arrived at the hospice - so much for Sat Navs!  (This journey took us eleven minutes when we went home.)

The hospice is a calm space with wonderful staff - just a bit stark in the rooms and out in the courtyard - it needs an artist in there.
