BEAN GENES

Just love musicians beans - the runner, the French dwarf, the black, the red kidney - could go on & on OK?

But my most favourites are broad beans - for their flowers & the delicate fragrance when you split the pods open - not too far removed from the 4711 Eau de Cologne!

My Grannie was a great grower of broad beans - she bequeathed me her bean genes - not for nothing we called her Grannie Pooh!
