ACID SWEAT!

Worked on this "Flamenco" guitar today fixing a long & very grubby split in the table - felt like adhering a sarcastic 'post it' with the legend, "Why not try washing your hands? Once a month could be a good start!"

Then I came to put on new strings & immediately felt apologetic because this guy's sweat is so acid that it has corroded away the frets to an astonishing extent. It has also rotted the rosewood fingerboard.

So it goes...
