horns of wilmington's cow

It all started with so much bravado...

*ding ding* "Get out of the way!", then confidence stumbled at the sheer mass of geese....

The Greylags down the park, and I counted about 50, have gone through the annual moult of their flight feathers, and are nervously moving between the water and grazing on the grass.

Second trip to the park after getting down in the morning to see the graffiti artist who had done under the bridge adding to his work with a dragon in a wild area. It's great because the area is covered in foliage just now, but come winter it will be revealed as the leaves fall. Had a great chat about France (he's French) and art and wine.

The rest of the day was ridiculously work-busy, and still doesn't feel like I've got even half of what I needed to get done done. Tomorrow promises much of the same...
