Godfrey's Cottage

This little cottage is on one of our regular walks through Bramham Park Estate. It is called North Lodge.

Those of you who are watching the BBC TV series 'The Syndicate' may just recognise it as Godfrey's cottage. Godfrey is the character played by Lenny henry.

Bramham House and estate were used for filming part of the series - it was the fictional Hazelwood Manor. In the opening episode the house was shown overlooking the sea at Scarborough - pretty impressive as it is 60 miles away!

Ironically there is a Hazelwood Castle just across the A1/A64 from Bramham Park itself.
