Plasterer Par Excellence

Most exciting news today is that my youngest has started posting on blip - Notconforming... so glad we'll get updates on her Texas/Nicaragua/Costa Rica/NY adventure.

Our nephew arrived to plaster two ceilings and managed to do them both in half a day - he's incredibly good at it. He did the bedroom on his strap-on stilts; in the kitchen, M had to rig up scaffolding. This photo is to remember the stencil I did many years ago in Notconforming's bedroom - which will have to go now - sad.

You can possibly imagine the mess the house is in now, with the contents of both those rooms now in other rooms. At least we've managed to get most of the plaster off the walls and floor of the kitchen. But decided it was probably a good night to use our vouchers for half a chicken at Nando's...
