Toadstool

Passed this solitary toadstool in the middle of a grass verge. Photographed it from the side view and - inset - from above in the hope of being able to identify it, but I can't seem to find it in my Collins Gem Guide. I'd love to hear what it is if anyone knows ....

For now I'm dubbing it a pancake toadstool!
