Pretty mountain flowers

Off to Kantor Imigrasi for our 10am appointment. There are a few more people here this time but we are seen relatively quickly and pay our fee, get our photo and fingerprints done and have our new 30 day visas within about an hour. The last visa of the trip as we don't need one for Singapore and then we're home. Many of the people here are with agents but it was so easy we're glad we chose to do it ourselves and saved the agent fee.

Back at the hotel we wait for our pick up then it's just over two hours drive to the village of Senaru. It's a pretty little mountain village and is a little cooler than we've been used to which is nice. We meet Full who is organising our trek and Dan, a Londoner currently living in Liverppool, who is the only other member of our group.

The afternoon is spent chatting with other trekkers and the evening much the same with a couple of beers thrown in. We meet our guide, Surya, who looks hard-core ... much more so than any of our guides in Nepal ... should we be worried?!
