Raining on their Parade

It has been a very busy week, ending with a very busy day. But in a good way.

I left the Civic by the side door. It was late. Most people had left - in fact, I expected, virtually everyone.

So as I turned the corner, I was astonished by the scene in front of me. Loads of cars, and lots of people. It was obviously a wedding, and there must have been 100 -200 people (I hadn't time to count). The Registry Office must have closed some time ago so I have no idea what was going on.

It instantly tipped it down - a heavy shower. As I queued to get out onto Chorley Rd the sun came out and I wound down the car window and took a couple of photos.

I liked this one. The girl centre stage has the Sophia Loren look.
