Pyramidal orchid

At the risk of boring you all, I am blipping yet another native orchid today, this time the beautiful Pyramidal orchid Anacanptis pyramidalis. It grows freely on chalky soils, and is easily recognised by it's pyramidal shape. These are the first orchids I photographed back in 2008 when it all began.......I feel I have travelled a long way since then, but I still have a long way to go!
This orchid season has been manic, but very good...shame it's so short!
As an extra I have added a shot of a lovely Leopard moth a new species for my garden.
