Evening walk to St Hilda's Church

We're back in Danby Dale for a few nights break before Ann begins her chemo treatment on Thursday.  We drove through heavy rain before arriving here at Pear Tree House, but the evening improved steadily and we ended up with beautiful light as the sun set.  This is a very old church with many 18 century gravestones.  I think this was the first time we'd wandered into this part of the plot - although the stones in front are all older, the ones behind me were more circa 1930.

Mum wasn't feeling too good when we left the hospice (she'd had such a good day on Thursday), but the doctor felt she knew what the problem was and that they'd be able to help.

My brother should now be at Manchester Airport as I type this, waiting for his flight back to Washington/ Denver.
