Altrincham Market on Craft Day

Lovely sunny afternoon for a change and we went to our nearby market in Altrincham to visit the craft fair.  The market dates back to 1290 so is one of the oldest in the country.  There has been a lot of investment in this immediate area to try and bring a bit of life back into the town and I think its beginning to work.  Sadly, though, on the way back to the car I noticed this floral tribute by the side of the busy main road and discovered later that this was in memory of a young mum who had been tragically killed whilst walking along this road.  This was an "accident in a million" and you can read more HERE.
