204 steps and 50 metres ...

...and this is the reward, the Church Tower is open last Saturday of each month (May-Sept) in aid of funds, the steps are particularly narrow, but the views of Cirencester are incredible.  The 40 ft high yew hedge, planted in 1710 is 150 yards long and 18 feet deep, and apparently the largest in UK.
