Lunch in the garden

I was sitting outside on the patio just after having had lunch when I saw a flash of colour in the garden. I quietly snuck inside and got the camera and when I came out he was sitting up on the rocks having a quite little nibble. Eastern Rosella and I think he's a male, as the females are not quite so bright, softer colours and prettier I think than the males, although his colours are stunning. To the naked eye, the blue was a deep purple which I haven't seen before. We haven't had them in the garden for a long while, mainly Lorikeets, so it's nice to see one back.
